Hello Woodside Families
I'm Heidi Harting of Heidi Harting Photography.
For those of you who don't know me, this will be my 21st year photographing spring portraits at Woodside! My two children attended Woodside when they first opened their doors on 09/11/2001.
I have always approached school portraits the same way I do my private commission family/child portraits. My goal is to deliver a beautiful portrait of your child that you will treasure not just this school year, but always.
PORTRAIT DAYS
Tuesday, April 29th, Wednesday, April 30th & Thursday, May 1st
Please have your child ready for pictures on their first school day during these dates.
If your child will not be in school on those days, don’t worry! Arrangements will be made for an alternate time that works best for your family.

PHOTO TIPS
What to Wear
- There are no right or wrong colors.
- Have the clothing match your child's personality!
- Please avoid slogans and large logos.
- The day may be chilly, so be sure to include a sweater that will complement their outfit.
- Hands and pants will show.
Hair
- Please send your child to school with their hair styled as you/they like it.
- We will lightly touch up hair if needed with a new comb (per child) but we do not change the hairstyle.
Glasses
- We can reduce glare but transition lenses (light to dark) will look like dark sunglasses. Please send an alternative option or consider no glasses.
CLASS PHOTOS = EVERYONE TOGETHER
Class photos are composite style, so no one gets left out!
IMAGE GALLERY DETAILS
The gallery of portraits will be ready for viewing and purchasing about 10 days after we are finished photographing all the students.

Siblings who attend the school will be photographed together, so consider coordinating their outfits.
FAQ
NEW! School photo delivery
This year, families will have 10 days to place their online order after receiving the gallery link. After that, only digital files will be available to order.
Why aren't you shipping orders directly this year?
We're delivering orders in one batch to the school to offer some new items and keep shipping costs down for you.
What happens if I miss the ordering deadline?
All print & product orders must be placed during the 10-day window. After that, we can only offer digital files.
When will the photos be available for viewing?
You will be notified by Woodside when the image gallery for purchasing prints, gift items, and portrait packages is ready, about a week or so after we have photographed everyone.
How will I receive my order?
All orders placed by the deadline will be delivered to Woodside. Digital files will be delivered via email.
May I order digital files from previous years?
Of course! Just reach out to me, and I will send you the gallery details from the year you missed.
What if it rains on portrait day?
Woodside will notify you as early as possible if the weather is not suitable for Portrait Day and you will be advised of the new date.
What if my child is absent?
We will make arrangements for your child to be photographed.
Do you offer make-up days?
I do my very best to capture your child's personality and typically do that in one if not all the poses. You will have several images of your child to select from. If that expectation has not been met, then of course I will rephotograph your child. My goal is to deliver a beautiful portrait that you will treasure forever.
